Cave rammed earth slab soft stone: environmentally friendly new material
You may have heard how caves stay warm in winter and cool in summer. A key reason is their thick earthen walls. Today, innovators have combined this ancient wisdom with modern technology to create a flexible porcelain material known as "Flexible Rammed Earth Slab" (or "Flexible Stone").
Simply put, it's a decorative material made primarily from modified clay and natural stone powder, pressed and shaped using advanced manufacturing techniques.
Why "Flexible Stone"?
Though resembling stone in appearance – with natural textures and earthy tones – it's not actually rigid stone. Instead, it's a moldable, flexible porcelain that can be easily cut and shaped. Its surface may feel slightly rugged, echoing raw, organic materials.
